Getting an Accurate Removals Quote
We don't publish prices, because every move is different. The quote depends on how much is moving, how far, and how easy it is to load and unload. To get an accurate figure, send:
- both postcodes;
- a room-by-room list, or photos of each room;
- stairs, lifts, long paths and parking at each end;
- your preferred date, and whether it is fixed;
- whether you want packing, storage or a clearance as well.
Parking matters more than people think. A removal lorry needs space near the door. On a tight terraced street or a narrow lane, the crew needs to plan around it, so mention it when you ask for a quote. Kwikshift aims to reply promptly during business hours, normally within 60 minutes.
In the week before you move
- Defrost the freezer and drain the washing machine the day before.
- Pack a "first night" box: kettle, mugs, phone chargers, toilet roll, bedding and any medicines.
